Peter Gregg biography

Does anyone know the name of the Peter Gregg biography or whom the publisher is/was?

I know one was written, but my searches have come up empty--perhaps out of print?

Anyone? Thanks

I've never heard of a PG bio.

I'll ask his son...

Ask HHH, he would have written the foreword.

I remember reading a review of it in Car & Driver about 10-15 years ago.

I remember Excellence did a PG story. They put a photo of a few drivers at a 24 Hour Daytona race, and identified two of the three drivers, Gregg and Hurley Haywood, in the caption. I sent in a comment on the photo, and few months later they printed my email-the third driver was F1 great Ronnie Peterson-can you imagine they didn't identify him?

I don' recall ever seeing a Gregg bio, nor any review.

C and D printed a long feature article by Ed Hinton in June 1992 ("The Many Faces of Peter Gregg") which was quite good. It was reprinted a few years ago in the "50 Years with Car and Driver" hardcover.

Autoweek did a nice piece that I recall from late '80 or early '81 shortly after his death.

There should be a book. There's certainly a story to tell.

Simon said that he is not aware of one, and as some here know, Simon is a racer. He said that he might write one though, not sure how serious he is, but if he is, I'm hoping Paul can help with some pix from his vast collection..

Damn--maybe I am thinking of the CD article "the many faces of Peter Gregg".

Anyways--tell Simon there would definately be a market for a full biography.
