Apologies. My Jeep actually has brakes on all 4 wheels. Discs.

All cars have 4 W. stop, so 4WD or AWD doesn't really stop any better than anything else.

But on the other side of that coin, you wouldn't believe how many idiots try to run you off the road BECAUSE you have 4wd and won't stay on their side of the road. I guess they think you will be able to drive right out of the ditch they put you in.
