Hutterite Colony?
The guys were "experimenting" when I left Manitoba, circa 1987.

I'm hoping I can still wear my summer gear on the ride to LA next week.

Small but nice :)

In some states, we get stupid and go driving where the boats usually go.
Ice was thick enough last year that I convinced the wife to come for a ride.
Photos depict the place where she calmly said "Stop. Turn around. Now."
She's a good sport, but I'm really mad about the fingernail marks in the armrests.:eek::eek::eek:

I guess being surounded by water has it's benefits. Wellington has water almost 360 degress no more than 7 miles away. Temps are, coldest 40F and the hottest mid 80F.

This is right now from my deck (summer here)

Wet or dry?

Racerbvd 01-09-2010 01:48 PM

While guys up north are laughing at us in FL. for freezing in this cold snap, it is killing our out door entertainers:(
All of our deck gigs were cancled last week, we have entertainment 7 days a week at some clubs :(

dry rub, sauce on the side if desired.

It's too warm here - the snow sucks. So instead of being able to take the dawg telemarking, I am forced to work on trimming out a doorway and some baseboards.

I'd work on cleaning up the garage, and putting some gray Surflex on my black gas tank... but it's too cold.

Amazing breakfast place just down the street ...

I grew up in central NY, went to school in Postsdam NY, and lived in Mass for over 10 years. I finally smartened up and moved to Charlotte, NC. I definitely do not miss the cold and snow.

In Mass. I couldn't drive or work on the toy cars for over four months (no garage). In NC, I can drive all the cars all year round except for the occasional one or two days of ice storms.

This winter has been colder than normal, but still much better than my friends in Massachusetts.
