Great game, and the most deserving team won, IMHO. Canada did NOT play as well as they should have.

Thank you very much, thats very gracious of you. We don't get to the top very often and winning against the Canadians, a very talented team perennially, is always a thrill. You may not have played your best, but we do need to catch a break now and then!

BTW...props to the Canadien fans for being so classy. Applauding our boys accomplishment was top class!

Same for me Turbo. I played goalie all through high school and college. We do have a decent side this time around. Eberle surprised me , pleasantly. I'm hoping we can carry that momentum to the Olympics. "twould be sweet to beat the Russians.

What burns me the most about some fans is how they won't recognize excellence in the opponent. And whomever wins the Cup gets a standing O from me.

The Russians are too disorganized to field their best team. The other Europeans either don't have the skill or the heart (or both). Thank God the Americans stepped up. It's not a competition when the same country wins every year. That's called a coronation.
