Behind the wheel of a GT2
Whell as some of you may know I am currently active duty in the US Coast Guard. My average day here in the Harbor Defense Unit in Boston is mostly made up of harbor patrols and random boardings which is few and far in between as far as boats go. (its December) when the big ships come in it is my duty to board them and look for things out of place, Drugs, Contraband, Illegals, oh and Terrorists.
Today was different. I was told I would be boarding a Car carrier which had 1400 autos aboard. Whell I was a little upset that I was going to spend the majority of my day on a Boat full of foreigners with no lunch. I got aboard and proceeded with the Boarding; Check living spaces, muster crew, verify documents and such. after that was over I proceded with half the boarding team to inspect the Car spaces. The first couple of decks Was booring... Then their was the upper decks. the next floor had All the Audis you could ever want to see. I was In awe looking at the S8's and the rest of the line. The ships crewmen that was with me said "wait till you see whats above" He wouldn't tell me as much as I Begged. I finished off with that deck and went above. I almost passed out. Porsches from bulkhead to bulkhead. I looked at each one. Every model. every color. Then I stopped. I saw the beautiful GT2 2 rows away. The doors were unlocked and the crewmen was off with the other half of my boarding team. I let it get the Best of me and hopped right in. Even though I was Just sitting there I felt as though I won the Lottery. Eventualy I had to get off the Ship and go back to the base but that car has kept me side tracked all day. Osama could have walked right by me and I would Have not seen him. Thought I would share my day.
