The Ford Ka commercilas are funny, the audi one, not so much. Too sensitive a subject to depict so lightheartedly.

That VW commercial was a spoof side job from an advertising agency group in London. I would not be surprised if the Audi commercial also isn't an official commercial, rather than a rogue "fun" project by a group of pros.

I didn't even watch it. Sounds lame at the least.

Great commercial! Excellent dark humor. I love it. The power window spoof at the conclusion really set the tone. Funny...

First of all, no one here even understands "clean diesel," so why waste the guffaws?

The VW and Ka spots are also very good. Now I want a Ka. Nice looking car.

VW/ Audi have, historically at least in the UK, used humour on the cusp of acceptable (by UK standards) so this one is right there...

That it may offed others, in markets where it will not be shown, is not really an issue...so if its aimed at the UK...

I went and checked this out on youtube, and I really can't see anything sinister, even trying to find it. Here's the spot:

The Audi headlights commercial was just a straight sell -- nothing new there; little imagination. Perfect for the milquetoast consumer. (Yawn!)

My understanding is the Ka ads are also fakes.

The most disturbing thing to me is that in the blog story they wrote 'wait in vein' :rolleyes:
