I'd forgotten about Gattaca. That WAS a good movie. Lots of holes in the plot, but a great premise, well acted, good character development.
Never saw Heavens Gate - was it good? I like Kris Kristofferson a lot as an actor. Warren Beatty, too, right?

I'm amazed, "Local Hero" has been one of my all time favorites for years. It is something of a cult in our family.

Local Hero is popular in our family as well.
I see a lot of kid movies, and Little Giants is very funny. Lots of good lines and John Madden too.
