Will try to call tomorrow night when I get to my hotel in Pasadena. I rarely get lunch when in LA, as I'm always hustling (can't eat on the bike) to the next meeting. But when I'm done for the day, I'm really done, unlike when I'm at home.

I've got the boy Thu through the weekend. I'm trying to sandwich in a drum lesson for him and a trip down to Anaheim to hook up with some bassists. I think the Anaheim thing is both Thu and Fri.

What time/place are you guys thinking?

Molly Malone's then Canters. Or Bergin's then Canters. Just to keep it simple and on one street.

I am more excited about NAMM than I ever was for Xmas as a child. Gawd, I have wanted to go there since I was about 13. Back then, CA might as well have been Mars. Living in NJ then, I thought I'd never ever get to go to CA. Now I'm there almost every month. Anyone know when Eddie Van Halen is appearing at NAMM? Fender's PR guy says he's heard nothing, which means he'll be there.

Where were you when I ordered Calvin's Roland vDrums kit

I had a hook up with a guy down in San Diego and went for about 18 straight years. It definitely is an experience, but I think it has shrunk a bit in the past few years. The web has changed the way the industry does business and the f2f trade shows have lost some influence.

I remember the first one I went to (late 80's). Total sensory overload...

Oh man, I can get stuff from that company at the employee price which is cost plus a little tiny bit.
