Maybe a question for ppl already been through it.

we are 41/44 (F/M) a late start I know but we only got married this year and she is in Canada, we had 1 week after the wedding (March), a 3 day long weekend (4 months later) and a month over xmas.

I know about optimum periods and such, and its easy for everyone to say just relax but no sign of anything yet (mind you her cyclic for xmas isnt due for a couple of weeks)

is this kinda normal?

Have we left it too late? cheeeeeeers

We did something like 11 Invertro’s and IUD’s with no success in our mid 40’s and then did the best thing that ever happened we adopted in a private adoption down in Florida

Trader220....I will never forget when my wife and I went to Watkins Glenn for Porsche Double 50 and seeing the 917's for the first time. Your photo brings back memories of how small they are in person. When I tell folks a 917 is as small as a Miata they are shocked, as was I. Absolutely incredible machines and cannot even imagine doing over 200 mph in one.

Looking at the wheels and tires makes the hair on my neck stand up thinking about doing something like 220 mph on it. Thats scary stuff. THat car is at the Simeone Foundation.

My son Aj and I go there often to oogle it. We often talk with one of the care takers trying to convince them that they need some sort of 911 variant at the place. They have some pretty impressive Le Mans cars there as was all MILLE MIGLIA and TARGA FLORIO cars.

I'd go for it. At 48 and no kids, I regret it.

So, your current friends don't have kids...you will still see them, just not as much and you will most likely meet new friends that have kids - it's enevitable. Meeting new, younger parents will keep you young yourself and you will most likely be popular as the "older, wiser, established" parents.

Keep in mind, your current friends (with no small kids - just adult kids) will start becoming grand parents and will be back into the little kid life again - little kids are fun and make you feel young again. Ever seen grand parents that wern't happy to be grand parents.
