Or some photographer/fan/psycho/other took a pair of shears and cut it.

Very few vehicles can be parked and suddenly lose all their oil.

interesting idea.

though i think it would take some technical knowledge and tools, as well as get smart like stealth, to sabotage a car like that on the street where everyone can see.

I had a new '69 912 blow an oil cooler...borrowed a farmer friend's cow **** covered trailer to tow it back to the Portland dealership. Man, they couldn't get me out of there fast enough! :D

It was a pretty large pool of oil...wouldn't have noticed if it hadn't been.

It was quite a scene. I pulled up right in front on the showroom, the shiny 912 atop a caca covered trailer...I wore gloves, rubber boots, coveralls, a John Deere hat to complete the image...trailer towed by a muddy Chev 4X4. Customers talking to salesmen when I pulled in.

Hooboy, did they EVER want me out of there! :D
