Great Australian Rideabout Starts Tomorrow!
My buddy and I have rented BMWs (yes, I've tucked my trousers in the boots to conform to the bmw tourer code) and will be starting our journey to the East tomorrow a.m.
Perth to Sydney in 14 or so days. A pic of Perth from Kings Park to whet your appetite to come to this, the most remote large city on the continent.  Kings Park really reminds me of Balboa in San Diego--stunning area and absolutely meticulously clean and tidy, like the whole city. Graelin, a pelican who's from Perth, has graciously offered to guide us on our first day through some more interesting roads. First stop should be somewhere around Leeuwin Park and will upload some snaps of the group when I get a chance unless Graeme beats me to it, which is likely. Jack

What a great thing to do...any link on how to participate?
I've been to Perth a few times...I've often saw what you did: Perth reminds me of what San Diego was like in the 1960's! Have fun!
