I have a lot of respect for Kurt Warner. I don't embrace all his philosophies about life, but he is a real professional. Others in a similar position could take note. But that would entail a reduction in media coverage.

Damn! Warner was and is a great quarterback. Too bad.

I wish McNabb would retire, and take Vick along with him. SmileWavy

McNabb and Vick will both play at least 3 more years. I bet Vick plays at least 5 more.

mattdavis11 01-29-2010 05:33 PM

Gawd, I hope you're wrong. McNabb needs to hang with the Eagles for at least another 15-20 years. If so, it would permanently secure no hope of Philly winning the big one for years, IMHO. Same with Vick, hold on to him, he's going to be awesome, as a used car sales man.

Rumors around here are that the Vikings are courting McNabb. Hmmm...

m21sniper 01-29-2010 05:56 PM

Rumors around here are that the Eagles want a 1st round pick for McNabb and they are wanting to move him.

Anyone seen these photos of Favre after the Saints game?

I certainly don't blame him for considering retirement. Although I do hope he comes back next year.

Even Barry Sanders said in a radio interview that he would like to see Favre play again.

What's training camp without a little Brett? Is he in? Out? Retired? Who knows...

steve911 08-04-2010 02:21 PM

ESPN interviewed him this afternoon and Favre said he may NOT retire if he's healthy...

Superman 08-04-2010 02:31 PM

Favre's a pussy. Crybaby. Glass ankle. Can't take a hit.

All of his current--"I'm out, no wait, I'm back in" once again reveals his true diva behavior

He is an A+ over-rated assclown.

I hope he does come back and once again ends the Vikes season through an ill-advised throw- turn- interception.

Hahaha

berettafan 08-05-2010 04:57 AM

agree with the assclown bit above.

not sure if he's over-rated but def. has a 'me' issue.

lukeh 08-05-2010 06:04 AM

New year...same old tired story. Well other than the pictures of his johnson that he reportedly sent to Jenn Stenger's (sp?) phone.

Honestly what pro athlete doesn't have a "me" issue?

Hate Favre all you want but this will be his 20th year of taking shots behind the line of scrimmage if he returns. That's a good run for any career, sports aside. The Vikings easily got their $10M worth out of the guy and if you could do it, you would too.

Seahawk 08-17-2010 05:31 PM

Yep and yep.

I enjoy watching him play.
