This is what it's all about. Regular season games just do not get any better than this my friends.

I predict the winner of this game represents the NFC in the Superbowl.

The Cowboys have lost 9 straight regular season finales, including last year, when the Eagles destroyed them 44-6 in yet another winner take all game for the playoffs. Emmit Smith was the Cowboys leading rusher the last time they won a regular season finale. Will the trend continue?

Is ther any team in the NFL that can stop the Eagles big play passing attack? Is this the best offense McNabb has ever had around him? Will he take the Eagles back to the Superbowl....can he actually win one?

I think the Colts will win the Superbowl personally. To me they are head and shoulders the best team in the NFL.

A game of inches. Asante Samuel almost intercepts 2 passes- 1 of which would've gone the other way for a TD if he'd caught it...but he just missed both. Plays like that change the entire game.

McNabb has HORRIBLY overthrown Jackson who was wide open behind the defense(he is unstoppable), and then threw a pass 3 yards BEHIND Maclin when he was wide open in the middle of the field for a huge gain deep in dallas territory.

Then McNabb fumbles the ball on the next drive, again deep in Dallas territory. McNabb is an infuriating player to root for at times.

The Eagles defense sucks though. It really has all year, and mainly cause of the play of the 2 safeties, esp. the free safety. THat position has absolutely killed the Eagles this year.

Eagles are a huge big play team though, so we'll see what happens. 97% chance they've already hurt themselves beyond repair in this game though. Dallas not getting that last TD there, and settling on the FG leaves the door SLIGHTLY open, but Mcnabb needs to unchoke himself really quick.

If Dallas wins, Philly and Dallas play again next week. Not sure where.
If Philly ends up winning, Dallas comes to Minnesota next week and Philly gets the week off.

The Eagles have been their own worst enemies. Especially McNabb. He has missed 5 WIDE OPEN (and by wide open, i mean WIDE open) Eagles Recievers, 1 of which was an obvious TD, another of which gets the Eagles down inside the Dallas 10 by the time Macklin is done running.

And he's opened the 2nd half exactly the same way. Throwing behind WIDE open recievers. Toss in 2 mcnabb fumbles for icing on the cake.

Sigh...when McNabb is bad, he is REALLY bad.

The coaching staff has also been terrible. The time management at end of first half was atrocious, costing the Eagles another 3 points. And calling a timeout on a PUNT play? WTF??!?!??!?!

Eagles rookie D coordinator Sean McDermit has been just terrible all year, this Eagles defense is by far their worst of the entire decade.

Shrug.

He just underthrew Macklin who was open behind the whole defense. A good pass, that's another touchdown...

It's just life with McNabb. When he's bad, he really, really sucks. LOL.

I've been saying to local friends for about 2 months i think it will be Colts-Vikings in the superbowl.

I don't think the vikings would have a chance in hell at winning that game though.

I just want to see NO lose, then the NFC championship game will be in Minnesota.

If we have to go to NO, I think it will be a big NO GO for the Vikings.

NO's defense is very suspect, much like the Eagles.

Next week's Eagles-Cowboys game will be interesting. The Eagles flat quit toward the end of that game, it will be interesting to see how Reid and the Eagles respond with a 1 week turn around and shutout revenge motivation.

It doesn't really matter, the Eagles are not a superbowl team. If they got there it would be a matter of luck, no way they could beat the Colts either anyway. (Nor can the Cowboys)

If we (Dallas) get past the Eagles next week - boyz are going to the SuperBowl.
Don't get so excited b/c you beat a crappy Giants team with nothing to play for today.
Viks have major issues which will be exposed in the playoffs. Btw, graybeard never played well against the cowboys when he was with Green Bay....!
