well the apples sure are over priced
I just got the wife a C2D macbook
after a 3 month hunt for a good cheap used one
I was amazed at the fools who wanted 70-80% of the new price
for older slower models with limited ram and tiny HDs
and no apple care warranty

finally lucked into a real deal off C-list
$200 for a 2.0 C2D with a replaced 300G HD
and no it was not hot as it came with all the disks and cords
from a guy in a upscale condo

but a hackentosh looks to be about 1/3 to 1/2 of apples price
and the basic guts are the same only real diff is the case
