the bomb split them in half.

Not a very engaging episode...don't know if I expected too much or what.

gr8fl4porsche 02-02-2010 07:08 PM

I liked it.

The split in half theory sounds good.

rattlsnak 02-02-2010 07:08 PM

i thought it was very good and finally answered some questions..but of course raised many more.. LOL...

once again attention to detail is in the toilet with this show. one second blood is gushing out from gunshot to the abdomen, then what appears to be hours later, no visible blood. stupid. my imagination can deal with the crazy stuff that happens, but the basic human biology mistakes annoy me along with the overly dramatic communication by the main cast....and why does fat dude always hesitate. i just want to punch him

and i still have no idea what is going on. yet i keep watching

Man in black / smoke monster is the human free will. He only makes suggestions, as he suggested that Ben kill Jacob.

He has found a way to assume the form of the dead, can he possible reappear in Sayid's body inside the temple?!?

rattlsnak 02-02-2010 07:27 PM

is he trying to get off the island in Lockes body? why? to spread evil? or ?

i thought of them as Jacob being good and the other guy being evil/ i cant remember the conversations those two had when they showed the ship approaching..

I don't think he wants off the island, more so he seemed like he had enough of Jacob's experiments with humanity and seeing the good in all man.

rattlsnak 02-02-2010 08:06 PM

no, he told Ben he wants off the island.. read the lostpedia pages. very informative!

My thought was that "home" to him is the Temple. Or if not, why was there such a fuss when Hurley told the folks at the Temple that Jacob was dead? It's as if they knew right away what was going on and then started barricading the doors, etc.

cwiert 02-03-2010 05:12 AM

Somebody, aside from Sayid, is in Sayid's body. Who? The man in black/smoke monster? I don't think so. He's already in Locke's body. Jacob perhaps? That would be interesting.

cwiert 02-03-2010 05:14 AM

Also? What ever happened with Walt? Did they just abandon that story line? I thought Walt was "special" to the island somehow?

kconway 02-03-2010 05:50 AM

Jack = new guy in white
Sawyer = new guy in black
Both will remain on the island forever.

Yes. We know that Smokey is based in the catacombs BELOW the Temple, but the Temple itself belongs to Jacob? Very strange...unless Jacob TOOK the Temple away at some point, and locked Smokey out. We now know that the ash repels Smokey, which is VERY informative, but I think it's going to be overdone.

I was unimpressed with the presentation of the Temple. This is a place that has been hinted at for years, and when it finally was shown, there wasn't much reverence in the filming style. Compare that to the moment when you first saw the Statue, or when they first looked down into the Hatch.

I am going to strangle anyone involved in this absurd dual-timeline crap. I understand FILMING dual timelines to hide the truth from the obsessed fans, but not to integrate both into the show.

if I was on that island I would just lay around all day, maybe eat some mangos, maybe fish a little and of course try to pop one or more of those honies! They put way too much emphasis on doing shyt IMO...

Well that wouldn't be a very engaging show. Unless, it was a different kind (XXX) of show/movie. "LOST...virginity" maybe.
