I wanted to let you know that my 1989 Porsche 911 Turbo Convertible is
still available and looks like new with only 102,030 miles on board. I
can say that it does not drip, leak, lean, smoke, pull to one side,
vibrate, or make funny noises and on top of everything it`s a non smoker
car. The car is in great condition inside, outside and mechanically. It
has never been in ANY wreck, has never hit a curb, was never hit while
parked, the alignment is perfect, it tracks smooth at any speed. So I'm
willing to let it go for $21,000. It will come with a Clear Title, bill
of sale signed by me as well and all the papers (including the original
manuals and keys) that you will need to register it under your name.
Additional pictures available at your request! I will make this deal
only through eBay Motors Vehicle Purchase Program due to the fact that I
travel almost all the time with my job. Before leaving I prearranged
shipping with eBay Motors and Dependable Auto Shippers so my presence
isn't necessary. In exchange, I will offer a 5 day trial period from the
moment you receive it from the shipping company, in witch you will have
time to test-drive and inspect the car and review all the documents.
This way you're not buying something sight unseen. If you agree with
this transaction I will need the following details from you:

full name and address:
shipping address:
phone #:

PICS: Pictures by 1989_Porsche_911_Turbo - Photobucket

After I receive these details from you I will forward them to eBay
Motors in order to get things in motion. eBay Motors will contact you
with all the details that you need to complete this transaction and also
to see that I am covered by them. I'll be waiting for your email with
the requested details.

Regards,
Christopher Lincoln

Were you looking for a turbo cab or was this unsolicited?

Either way, it sounds fishaay.

What eBay Doesn't Offer

Knowing the services that eBay doesn't offer can help you recognize scams and fraudulent activities. eBay does NOT:

* Provide any escrow services
* Own, buy or sell inventory listed on eBay and eBay Motors
* Have any involvement in the actual transaction
* Send links to chat services through email messages
* Inspect any vehicles (although eBay does link to partners who will perform this service)

traveling? yeah, right. as soon as this dickhead ( alleged seller ) said that, your SCAM warning light on your dash should have started blinking.

Really, I don't care how busy you are...........if you're selling your "beloved turbo" you make time and try for the best price you can get.

Tell him you're travelling too and should you guys happen to bump into each other, then you could discuss the deal.

Trying to claim that it doesn't leak oil...

That should set the alarm bells off for a start!

Yep, that set off the big RED light that replaced the clock...

Told him would only do a face to face, at the reputable shop for a PPI where after the shop approves, he would be paid in cash...

Send him a note warning him that someone recently ran an Ebay auction where they used photos of HIS car! I'm sure the Ebay auction must've been the real scam.
