"The Inbetweeners" on BBCAmerica
Any one watching this? It's great !! If you ever had an awkward moment in your adolescent years you should be able to relate to this show.

I've been watching it since it premiered on BBCA a few weeks ago. Absolutely the most hilarious show I've seen in a long time. The episode on Wednesday night, when they were at the Christmas prom was pretty good but last week at the caravan park was really funny.
Does anyone know if they are going to start showing the second season now that they have finished up with the first? |

Love it--I watch Top Gear and then this is on right after--the caravan party was hilarious.

I watched the UK version of your show (or you watch our I don't know)
My wife hates it although I can see the funny side and all those friends we all had at school although never quite worked out why they were part of our circle of friends. The mates parents, their foibles, the excruciating things our parents often said in front our friends, that we would rather they had kept quiet about. Does the American version also feature the slightly saidistic or otherwise uncomfortable teaching staff we always seemed to have

The few episodes I've seen have only had the male teacher/principle in it. I'd really like to see an uncensored episode, but thats not very likely on this side of the pond.

I'm not a big TV guy. Got into it through top gear. Incredible show. Uncensored version?

The main member of the teaching staff, is played by a very tall stand-up comedian,
his character is a sarcastic head of year, disillusioned with education type teacher, there was another member of staff who turned up in an episode where the school went away on a field trip to the sea-side, and over a few drinks, began to fondle a pupil, he was led away by the head-of-year with dire threats to the kids should they tell on him. UK series featured main character Will Mc Kenzie, a formerly privately educated student, forced after his parents break-up to complete his education at an ordinary comprehensive. There he ingratiates himself with Three boys his age One of whom lies through his teeth about sex, but hasn't had it, another who's internet viewing is policed by his parents, the third (an idiot) who has sex, passes his driving test & achieves things the others cant, all with apparent ease, much to their annoyance. The last one I watched was at exam time, Will had all his targets plotted out to revise, sat before his notes drinking hi-energy drinks and toatally unable after a few days to recognize the written word before him, let alone comprehend its meaning, anyway it culminated with an exam in the gymnasium, where finally all the caffeine fuelled revision went horribly wrong after an innocent fart.....
