I just lost my Dad
 

I just got back from the hospital, He was 72, this morning he swore he was fine but couldn't pee; by noon the paramedics took him... I am in shock, I think.

I am sorry for your loss. The death of a parent is more difficult than I ever could have imagined. My Dad passed away nearly six years ago, at 76 and my Mom passed away about 3 years ago at 79. I miss them both every day and think of them often. I am eternally grateful for their love, generosity and kindness.

You will see your way through this.

Sorry to hear of your loss, CC... and it's tougher when it happens suddenly. Just take things in short clumps of time and hold on to each other for support.

May you find comfort and hope in the resurrection of the dead.

Grieving is a difficult time for all of us. I'm sorry to hear this sad news.
