Not bad. I always thought the ones with the guy through the windshield and a bloody pulp were more effective.

Hopefully, it will convince others to wear a belt.

I still hear news of accidents where someone was killed and they were not wearing a belt.

I like the fact that it uses love rather than fear to communicate the message. Very nicely done.

Anybody know any stats on how many people actually don't wear belts? I don't think I can think of a single person who doesn't, young or old. Even my father, who refused it for years, finally came around a while ago.

Check your state's "Dept. of Highways and Public Safety" (or whatever it's called) website... they will probably have it. Or at least an educated guess.

In SC, most newspapers I know of are stating use/non-use of seatbelts when they run a report/story on an accident with fatalities. It still amazes me how many fatalities weren't buckled in (I think the last report I read said over 60%).

Survey of 1 here...I never do. I just don't like the state telling me what's for my own good...I'm a rebel, I know
BTW...that video is gay, IMHO.

Jim(lowryder993),

You married? Kids?

If you die tomorrow because you didn't take 2 seconds to put your belt on, what will they think?

Do you abide by the rules of the race club when at the track?

So you're a temporary American.

It's not the state telling you what's for your own good, it's statistics.

Married/kids, yes...carry enuf ins, they'll be fine. Club rules are a whole nother can of worms...plus w/ my fat azz belted in, I can feel what the car is doing.
Been ticketed 2x in 20 plus years, talked out of getting the write up 3x. Just my own little way of stickin it to the man

Big D...stats, yep I agree, but its prolly the same way a few bikers feel.

I'm sorry you feel that way.

I think your family would rather have you than the insurance money.

I was a rebel once as well so I get what your saying.
