Try here: Can he squeeze into a 26? My son has his fast skin jammer from his state meet last year.

Thanks cgarr, I'll give them a try.
BTW, he'll just squeeze into a 28. Too bad he can only use it for this event and sr sectionals next month. ![]() |

Size 30 would be too big. These things have to fit like a second skin.
You should see them trying to get the long Fastskins on. They have to put their feet in plastic bags so they can slip them through the legs. Then pull the bags off. Not something you want to do in a hurry. |

some duct tape, a razor and spray paint might work?

All I gotta say is that swimsuit is way cooler than the banana-hammock I had to wear when I was in HS. I'm still scarred from the memory of getting out of the pool the day the cheerleaders decided to come to the swim meet. Pool was cold and there was some serious shrinkage going on.

They use the jammer for the state and sectional meets (last year the full body and leg suites were allowed), but otherwise use the tiny speedo for all other meets (no thanks). A drag suit is worn during practice and just before and after your heat during season meets.

What does your Son swim? Mine did the 200 relay and 500, that's 20 laps, no thanks!

He swims year round (short course season is now) and freestyle is his best stroke. 1650, 1000, 500, etc. He was ranked #9 in the nation for the 1500 Free (16:56.07) last year for 13 year olds in the long course.
I tried swimming but after 20 laps, I was scraping the bottom of the pool... |

Looked there already and there's really only one that I saw. A size 30 or 32, plus I'm concerned with getting it quickly.

Thanks cgarr. Swim meet is tomorrow so we are going with a Speedo FS II. It's the style he used last year, but a jammer style vs full leggings. I think he's good enough that he won't be psyched out not having the latest and greatest.
Aardvark has been mia due to the snow I guess. |

Sorry I can't help with a source. Good luck to you son though! I swam from 8 years old all the way though Division 1 college and it was the best experience of my life. If I could go back and do it again, I would in a heart beat!!! My senior year of college was the first year "Jammers" were becoming popular. I was very skeptical of them, but tried them anyway. Seemed to work well, although expensive compared to the Speedos I wore all my life. We got them for free from Speedo through a sponsorship, otherwise I would have stuck with the trusty Speedo!

Thanks Speedy. I was never a swimmer, so I don't know where he got it from, but he started at about age 10 in the neighborhood (summer) league and after 2 years, started year round. He's made it to the State, Sectionals and Zones every year since. He going to Sr Sectionals next month in Nashville, so this state meet will probably be his last. His goal is the Olympics!
We're just glad he's swimming and proud he's doing so well! Quote:
