Clk 320
Thinking about getting a 2000 Clk 320 coupe for a daily drive and to take clients around for real estate. Any thoughts?
|
do a search, there have been a few 2000s MB threads in the past couple months.
clients are not going to really like getting in and of the (smallish) back seat of a 2 door CLK, I don't think your making them do that is going to give a favorable impression to them. |
I have a 2000 CLK 430 that use to be my daily driver. I love the car and will never get rid of it. 240k miles and still average 27 mpg hwy but I wouldn't use it to carry around clients to look at real estate. McLovin has it right, clients will not like getting in and out of it.

Just test drove one it’s nice and was cramped. The thing is, in the past couple months I have had more single clients then family clients and the family clients I did have followed me in their own car, I offered them a ride

I always wondered about realtors and the vehicles they drive their clients around in. Back in 2001 ours had a brand spankin new S500 Benz.
I would think a good choice to drive clients around in would be something that is nice but understated. Like a nice larger SUV or a good sized sedan. |

Other choice would be a 2004-2006 Maxima with 6 speed (hard to find) |
You are on the same wave length as me.

I have had 2 ML 320's that have the same M112 engine as in the MB you are looking at. I have been happy with both. Fairly easy to work on. Lots of technical information available on benzworld on this engine as well.

I was interested in one until I did a search. There are lots of issues with electronics with the CLK. Same issue with most of the complaints. This is what I found while searching about these as I really like the look of the car. I didn't want to take a chance on the big bills people were complaining about. Sweet looking car.
