Pity, really.

I saw that and I was pretty offended myself. Costas needs to STFU! Just show us the events OK?

For some reason they have been putting all the hockey on CNBC...

And yes the coverage sucks... seems like two thirds fluff to one third sports

But that is the way with all TV anymore... sad really

go over to CNBC ...all they cover is hockey and curling yesterday

yes NBC sucks...last night i had to decide between watching poofy dogs or poofy men....the dogs won last night.

what really sucks is that CBC is no longer our alternate supply here in seattle...we dont get CTV here.

Not coming back through Phoenix—but lets stay in touch on Vancouver. We might be back by then.

+1

They can provide all of the commentary I need as voiceover during the actual event or in replay... I don't need or want a bunch of in-studio commentary and discussion. Just show the competition

NBC is using all of their networks as they did with the summer Olympics. In addition to CNBC, there's MSNBC, USA and even SYFY I think. If you have DISH Network push the "DishHOME Interactive TV" button, it will take you to their Olympics Coverage and show what's currently on each channel (except NBC).

I agree the coverage is terrible. I miss ABC's coverage.

they arent using UniversalSports for olympics coverage....they had some duspute...i think they wanted to use if for live coverage. but either the IOC or someone had a problem with that.

its a shame since that is the only decent sports channel they have.

how is it that US can show a whole world cup ski event but when it comes to the olympics (that more people would watch) they f*ck it up?

So.
My understanding is that you reside in Vancouver.
Have you vacated Vancouver, during the Olympics?
Say it isn't so.
Are you, in fact, Canadian?
Seriously.
:) :)
