I'm thinking the chick was videoing the event thinking her boy was going to kick an old white guy's ass, a HATE crime on 2 counts, but it didn't play out like that:D

This has officialy become an internet sensation--there are follow-up vids on youtube, as well as a series of "re-mixes" some of which are quite funny. The ID of "epic beard man" is well-known and he was tazed at an A's game--there is video of that as well. There is a follow-up from outside the bus showing EBM trying to calm down--another thug half-heartedly attempts to "square up" but nothing happens--EBM punches a newspaper box.

The girl that took the video and stole EBM's bag posted her own video "explaining" that she was trying to improve race relations and other nonsesnical crap. She has received threats from many for stealing the bag--although she is claiming that she didn't and was "holding" it for EBM.

Bottom line EBM is now a folk hero, thug got hat he deserved and video taker has been exposed as a liar and general disgusting human being.

The only unanswered question--who is the hot girl in the purple tights?

I'm having a hard time seeing what prompted the tasing at the game. He never so much as got out of his seat, much less made any threatening gestures. I did notice the cop slapped his hand when EBM thumbed his nose at him, but that looks to me more like a cop attitude problem. Anyone know what happened there, or what the final outcome was?

EBM appears to have a bit of a chip on his shoulder. No shortage of people stupid enough to knock it off, either. Wonder what his story is; he seems to have had 66 relatively quiet years...

I read somewhere that the cop that tased him has had multiple complaints for excessive use of force and a civil judgement against him for 30k for excessive use of force.

The problem with fighting against older folk is it is a no win situation if you engage in such.

Situation 1 - You kick the old guys ass. Wow you just beat up on an old guy.

Situation 2 - The old guy kicks your ass. Dude you just got your ass kicked by an old guy.

The only solution is to not engage and walk away.

While it is clear who threw the first punch, it is not clear who started it all. The notion that first punch determines all is total BS. Someone started the mess, which one was it?

I presume that the video is making its rounds. Too bad the gentleman who got his ass handed to him and his groupies don't realize that their actions on the video don't help their cause in life.

Until the punch is thrown it is just talk. A difference of opinion.

My biggest concern for the old guy is if the punk gets totally ragged on for being an azzhat and does something stupid.
Old guy could end up shot pretty easily. He seams to be a 'fixture' and easy to find.
