I ducked into the track last night and took these pictures.
I have no idea how or where this happened. Looks like it got hit by a train/bus/truck.    KT

It didn't have any blood inside.
Also, I don't see any evidence of a 'jaws of life' extraction. Kind of a mystery. KT

It is all a matter of energy. There is a picture of a car that a motorcycle hit at 120+ mph floating on the web. It looks similar if not worse. No telling what hit this car but the damage does seem to be higher rather than lower on the car.
