Mc D's Frappe'

So I drink a fair amount of coffee. I'm not a coffee "snob", and am not stuck on Starbucks (nor am I diametrically opposed to going there).
My favorite haunt is the local, privately owned coffee shop where the owner knows me, and we chat a couple of weekday mornings when I stop in.
I do have a bit of a problem without the caffiene - if you catch my drift...

Now, the problem:
Somebody dropped a bunch of promotional coupons off in our lunch room for this new (in our region) product from McD's. The "Frappe".
Now, I do drink one of their iced coffee's every once in a while - but don't really care for their marketing-upgraded basic coffee. No surprise there.
But this "drink" is a problem! I have a big pile of coupons for these for "Free", which is difficult to get over (I'm pretty cheap).

Looked at their website today to see the statistics on this beast. I mentioned that I drink some coffee, right? Well this concoction has me WIRED for a good long time.
Turns out that in addition to 450 calories , there is a healthy 57g of sugar per SMALL serving.

What is this world coming to???

Coupons are going in the garbage!

They even put sugar on the fries.

Blecccchhh.

Coffee should be hot and black.

My wife doesn't drink coffee but loves these Frappes.

Great marketing, however.

I just had an "NBA Big Box for $5.00" from Taco Bell for lunch.

Lotta food in there.

I feel like a nap now.

A buddy of mine figured out a way to get a bunch of free burrito coupons from Chipoltle or Qdoba or one of those places.

He gained a bunch of weight, then looked up on line and found out the one he was eating (with guac, sour cream, cheese, etc.) was over 1,000 calories.

Absolutely. If I want a coffee milkshake I'll go to an ice cream place.

Starting off the day tomorrow the right way...
two shots in a nice italian roast.

Now,
anybody here heard of "Bacon Jam"?
Winter really bites- any extreme recreation consists of weird food items...

I love coffee :)

I have not spent a dime at McD in many a year. McD is evil. In-N-Out...ok I confess...but then not more than 1x every 2-3 months. Tops. Swear.

And this is the "Bacon Jam".
Lots of bacon, salt, onion, and too much balsamic for my taste.

The dog might be getting lucky this week...http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1266769675.jpg
