USF1 where art thou?
Two or three teams seem to be MIA. Too bad, I think lots of people were looking forward to seeing some local talent in open wheel.
|
well they werent going to have a homegrown driver this year...and is sounds like they are trying to find out if they can miss a few races. the accord says three but they are saying they might have to miss the first 4, or will call off the whole season...they are also looking to get some product from one of the other teams that werent going to make it in time either. speed report had some news sunday but USF1 still isnt saying much.
the top 4 teams are going to be the ones to watch this year...4 past champs on 3 different teams |
I wonder if the testing ban is particularly hard on new teams...
|
I am gathering they had trouble with the crash testing of their new chassis......hence they weren't able to be ready or even test....
Hopefully they'll get something together and use 2010 as a development year. |
The man with the check book has left the team, maybe. So don't look for a car to take the green flag anytime soon.
"US F1 co-founder Ken Anderson has admitted that he is in discussion with the FIA to reach an agreement that will allow for the new team to miss the first four races of the 2010 Formula 1 season." |
