Let's see, did you ever aspire to owning a dairy farm? You know, milk the cows at 5 am, feed em, clean up the crap, do it all again tomorrow, forever. The best part is you can never leave, because cows, like B&B guests, need daily attention and checking in and out.
My wife and I heard this analogy from a husband and wife B&B owner in a winery bar in Hammondsport NY about 10 years ago, and that ended the B&B dream.
