The AR really can do it all:

I present the AR-15 Crossbow:

And only $1300...

I'll take a m203 for mine!

m21sniper 02-25-2010 10:11 AM

That's pretty cool!

azasadny 02-26-2010 03:18 AM

The upper is from PSE, I believe they are a quality Bow company.

afterburn 549 02-26-2010 09:16 AM

OK thanx

svandamme 02-26-2010 10:25 AM

it would make more sense if it still had the ability to spew actual bullets.

you know... arrow for stealth for the first zombie.... and a full clip in case more show up....

afterburn 549 02-26-2010 10:38 AM

One thing about the cross bow.....politicians fully under estimate them thank god!

James Brown 02-26-2010 10:45 AM

Watched a slow motion clip of a crossbow shot at a deer, the dart went right through him and hit a tree before he flinched! powerfull for sure.

71T Targa 02-26-2010 10:55 AM

This crossbow may still be considered a firearm as the AR lower is the part that has the serial number.
They offer a 'lower' also, but then you may as well get a dedicated crossbow.

Where do you mount the bayonet?

Agreed.

The Xbow should be a rail attachment.

jpachard 02-26-2010 12:25 PM

Probably much more reliable than the AR....hehe.

BlueSkyJaunte 02-26-2010 12:43 PM

I wonder if Magpul will produce poly magazines for it.

I have never had an M-16A2 or later design jam on me personally unless it was a magazine related problem. My Army issued M-16A1 was a jammomatic, especially with blank ammunition.

I have seen AK-47s jam many times though.

LUV crossbows. The only problem is the slow cycle speed.
