Anyone in Alabama? Title / Bill of Sale Q....
Long story short, my California Title has a 'alteration'.
Is Alabama one of those states that will accept a Bill of Sale only for reg and title? Otherwise my option is to get seller to get a DupPink from Calif. Like 8 to 10 weeks, THEN I can try to title and register in Alabama again. |

I think it depends on year of manufacture....Titles were only required for 1975 and later vehicles.

Thanks for the link. It's a '91, and I am pretty much going to have to get the seller to get a replacement title from California. I'm betting 6 to 8 weeks. I'm going to have to undo the insurance changes, and be patient about the seller's stupidity.
