Looks like a 7 foot wave on the way to Hawaii

We're under tsunami warnings here. Supposed to hit around noon or so, maybe 1-1.5m.

I was born in chile. I remember the earthquake that took down our house when I was a kid. Pretty bad stuff.
Good news is that all my family seems to be well and accounted for...

Btw, enjoy the surf but just remember the people that perished in the quake!

My Daughter said it was boring to wait for it. CNN is saying the warning has expired.

I was in a 7.2 or 7.6 quake when I was young. I couldn't imagine what an 8.8 would be like. They had a quake that registered 9.5 maybe 20 years ago. That would be super scarry.
