Towing a car dolly w/ RCSB Dodge Hemi, serious snaking
I just picked up a 2 wheel tow dolly to cut down on local transport costs. I did my 1st highway tow (Lauderdale to Fort Myers). Towing with a 2004 Dodge Ram Reg Cab, 2WD, Short bed, Hemi and was towing a 02 Audi TT.
Problem was any time I went into a curve or over a little bridge the Audi would start swaying back and forth and you could feel it pulling the truck. This was only at speeds about 65. I would have to slow down to 50 or less to get it to stop, then speed up again. The front end of the truck feels light when its swaying but not when its pulling straight. Is it because of the short wheel base? |

Part is the short wheel base.... Electric trailer brakes would help... Just bump them when the swaying starts and it straightens back out....
