Going to Vancouver the 25th to the 30th, think it will rain?

RANDY P 03-08-2010 09:56 PM

yes.

First, you didn't say which month.

Secondly; yes.

:D

Vancouver Rain Festival.
Sept 1 through August 31.

madmmac 03-09-2010 07:42 AM

You did not say which Vancouver, Washington or Canada? They are like 300 miles or 480km away from each other.

Regardless, it's going to rain.

s_morrison57 03-09-2010 07:47 AM

you might catch a break and have nice wheather, its full moon around that time of the month and its usually clear then

s_morrison57 03-09-2010 08:08 AM

madmmac, after the olympics and all our gold medals their is only one Vancouver and its in Canada
billybec, I don't drive my 930 in the rain but I've still had it out over 20 times this year, taking it out today cause its going to be clear and about 15-17* C . we don't winterize our cars here, can you really say the same from your perch in Cowtown? Didn't think so.
Are the Flames even going to make the playoff's?

BeyGon 03-09-2010 08:11 AM

Yes, going to the one in Canada, this month. I thought since there wasn't any snow for the Olympics this would be a good time to go. First time I ever set foot in Canada.

Trust me, you don't want Vancouver, WA.

OOh, feeling a bit full of your fine self today I see.... The rain festival jab was actually a common bumper sticker when I worked in Vancouver in the early 90s, I thought it was worth repeating. (and it was relative to the original posters question, not like your response)
It was 14 deg C this past weekend here and I did get to drive the 911!
Vancouver is a nice place to visit. I always enjoy going to the coast.
Thankfully THERE is only one Vancouver and by the Flames did win again tonight and I think they are leading the season series against the Canucks 3-1 right now..... Still a good chunk of the season left.
Admittedly the Olympics were a great show! I hope they leave a profit and legacy funds behind like the Calgary games did!

I have some good friends at our border. I've asked them to keep a keen eye out for you. A very deep cavity search is in your future. I suggest you lube up well.

BeyGon 03-10-2010 06:46 AM

We are flying in, they will have to catch us at the airport.
