I began my Porsche collection at 7 years old when my mom bought me a 356.
I now have 1000+ and no more room!http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1268363181.jpg

He sure looks happy...& pretty proud of himself!

A couple years ago I mentioned to my wife that I was thinking about getting a Boxster S. Here is the conversation that followed:

Wife: "You mean you would get rid of your 911?"

Me: "No. It would be my daily driver."

Wife: "Why would you want 2 Porsches?"

Me: "You know, you often hear people say that there are no stupid questions. Well THAT was a stupid question!"

She was not pleased by that last comment....

That's awesome. I had almost that same exact discussion with my wife a couple months ago. I was trying to explain to her that I would need the Boxster when I was doing "while your in there" projects on my 911. I still only own the one 911.

Too much of everything is just enough.

Kaliv, be prepared that one day he may ask you why you took his photo wearing an apron and posted it on the world wide web. :)

Great photo, however... my two are grown and out, and most of their toys are still living here... which I don't mind at all.

My wife asked if I noticed that he was wearing an apron in the picture (she took the picture when I was at work). I said no one would notice. But the answer was that he was helping mom bake bread earlier...and it's a man apron I guess. But yeah...the question will be asked and I'll have no answer.

I am not yet married - I already have two(well three, if you count the parts car). I have to say - being able to just park one, until I can get to fixing what it needs, keeps me from having to get it fixed now by taking it to a shop. My door handles broke, was very busy, only way in the car was through the hatch - I drove the other one until I could fix it, used the parts car, cost me nothing but time.

For me, it'd be hard to go back to just one, they are such different cars, even being the same model(944). I'd probably have to sell both rather then decide which to keep. I am feeling the need for a pickup truck, or a SUV, something to haul a race kart, or race car.

Back on the model subject, Here's an older picture that might have all my 1/18 if I haven't picked up any new ones in years. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1268454103.jpg
