Dude owed a duty to his pass as well... and a water landing in a light aircraft is ugly.

Too bad for the jogger he wasn't a lazy dude sitting at home eating pizza. He'd still be alive today.

I wonder how many joggers/bike riders manage to get themselves killed or maimed every year "staying in shape."

I always thought jogging was dangerous, now I have proof. ;)

I almost walked in front of a hybrid car the other day, I did not hear it coming. So I imagine a jogger with an ipod would not hear an unpowered plane coming at them.

No, no no!

Do not jog as it causes the ice to bounce out of your drink! :)

The manufacturers of electric cars are going to install speakers at the front and rear to emit sound. The big question has been just what sound to emit; right now, the sound planned is the sound that the Tai fighter [bad guys] in the movie Star Wars had.

-Two weeks ago, I was in Memphis. I wound up stuck in traffic on Poplar Avenue in the Jetta GLX that I keep up there, and a Tesla roadster came next to me in traffic. It was cold out, but I dropped the window to hear what the car sounded like. There was a tiny whine when the gray-hair driving the car drove away from the light. That car was too silent! I wanted to talk to him so much! Gear-head Normy runs across a brand-new example of one of the most significant vehicles of the decade which has a totally different drive, yet I was trying to get into Whole-Foods in my VR6 and couldn't get the driver to react to me at all!

I was only next to him for a few seconds, I guess he didn't notice me.

That car makes NO noise. It is dangerous for runners, that is my educated opinion.

N!

If electric cars sounded like TIE fighters i'd buy one!
