Exhale deeply, move, like holding your arms above your head, resume normal breathing.

Hurts like a mofo, don't it?

Did the doc put you on anything?

Thanks Tobra. That actually helps quite a bit.

Had it when I was a senior in High School. I thought my heart was tearing apart with every breath I took. Very painful. Couple of motrin for a few days and I was fine. Doc thinks I got it from too much stress.

Your lungs are essentially a bag inside of a bag. You get a little fold in one of those bags and it is very similar to what an ice pick between your ribs would feel like.
