Wanted Radiator

OT seems like a strange place but its better than the 911 classifieds.

I need a cheap (functional) radiator for my GRM $2010 Challenge car. I am looking for a MKII VW radiator. Could be from a jetta or rabbit application.

Need <$50 shipped. Free is better if you want to donate to the cause.

Also need two tires. 205/50/15 of DOT track quality RA1, RT615, etc. Must have some discernible tread. Heat cycled is OK.

Let me know.

Thanks

Check out Miata clubs/folks for the tires. That's a common Miata size.

Thanks Steve.

I have the word out to a few contacts but nothing yet.

Do you know if the 1988 16v Scirocco used the same one?

I bet if you want to run some free advertising on the car, i can hook you up with a new rad under your max price or maybe nothing at all. Give me more info on the MKII, a year would be helpful. Let me know, I'm local and willing to help.

I am looking for an 85-92 (MkII) radiator. I think they were all the same between the jetta, golf, cabriolet, fox (yeah, remember that one?) and Scirocco. The dimensions should be 26.5 x 12.5". Anything close should work.

I can run whatever sponsor decals are needed.

Local? Cool. you have PM.

I'll check the dimensions on the 1988. It's my neighbors from a car he's parting.

Consider it done. I have a ton of rads if the fitment bombs. PM sent.

Thanks Matt for the radiator. It fits great!

Now i need some tires.

You're welcome, I'll send the fan over this week if you'd like. I tend to think you'll want one when testing time comes. The slow speed relay is knocked out, but it pulls air just fine with 12v straight. It might be a bit tall though. If it doesn't work we can always open boxes to find the one that will.
