World record set in driveway sprint

My son was playing on the carport with friends and cousins yesterday (his 3rd b-day party), Sister-in-law is keeping an eye on them out the door. I look out the front window and see my boy in the road. Oh, s*** and out the door and down the driveway I go (I know that Usain Bolt would have only seen a** and elbow).

I guess I am one of those parents that doesn't watch their kids close enough. I am still pissed at myself for letting him out of my sight.

Anybody else have a story about THEMSELVES not some other idiot parent?
