Lewis "Spoon" and some Hunting
Getting ready for the hunt this spring. We have already spotted some Fokker Eindecker scouts in the area. We did some testing on the Lewis but just need to site it in for some easy kills! We are still waiting on parts for the Vickers to be delivered as soon as they get the roads graded into the aerodrome.
Looks like youtube is crapping out tonight? if the embed thing don't work you can see it here: http://www.youtube.com/user/G2Performance

Yes a bit low, we will add another cam lobe or two to the ignition to speed it up. The firing mechanism is a spark plug, coil and points off an old VW gas heater and the points are run with a small motor, we might be able to just speed up the motor a bit? What should a Lewis be at if it does not jam? Looks like around 400 rpm?

According to Tony Williams (a small arms expert if there ever was one, and an old buddy of mine from Warships1, way back in the day) 450-500 rpm max cyclic rate, 200rpm operational (which i take to mean sustained) rate.
