another iphone question?
 

My wife got an iphone 3G yesterday but she does not use an Apple computer instead she uses an HP w/ normal MS operating system. In order to get apps, download and transfer music and sync with her calendar and all the normal stuff, do I need to download itunes to her computer.

I know it's a pretty simple question but I've always worked apple iphone to apple computer and it's a "piece of cake", now I have to sync her's up as well so have to understand how that is done.

Why do I get the impression this is going to be a long journey? Thanks for the constructive feedback.

I actually went on to an Apple forum and politely asked the same question last night and no answers this morning so I guess the question wasn't mysterious enough over there so it's back to the good old PP brain trust.

I would say yes.
I have the 3GS and had to install iTunes.
No biggie.

Like Geronimo said, just download iTunes onto your PC.

I'm working on it right now, seems very straight forward but I'm sure I can fuch it up without much difficulty, just kidding.

Ya its pretty much impossible to fark up an iPhone with iTunes...

If she is into music get the Pandora app. Best ever
