Forum for 1948 Chevrolet Pickups?

I know it would not be as fun a Pelican, but where should I hook up for truck parts and info/help? I have a 1948 Chev Pickup . It Runs!

Any suggestions for forums? Parts? etc?

clubhotrod.com is okay and a couple geared towards rat rods are killbillet.com and ratrodrules.com. tons of info on all of them even if you don't have rat rod. my friend is building a 48 chevy rat on an s10 frame. it doesn't look much like yours anymore.

Two great sites are Stovebolt.com and obschevy.com.
I have a 1950 five window. Drive it every now and then to keep it moving. It's probably my favorite vehicle I have ever owned...someday I'll get around to restoring it...someday.

My first truck was a '48 Chevy. I have nothing of substance to add here, but that was a pretty cool truck.

Have fun. I sure did....

I think the best forum for AD Chevy & GMC is at

The Stovebolt Page -- For Old GM - GMC - Chevy Trucks!

One of the best/most dedicated AD parts places is:

Jim Carter Classic Truck Parts, Suppling Chevrolet and GMC Truck Parts for 1934-72 GM Trucks

Jim Carter is the Wayne Dempsey of old Chevy trucks

I use the antique automobile club of america forums a lot when troubleshooting, looking for parts, info etc for my '38 Buick.

Check out AACA Forums

I generally use the "pre war buick" forum, but they have both a "Chevrolet" forum and a "Chevrolet & GMC Trucks" forum that should be helpful to you.

Stovebolt is owned by a very good friend of mine and his wife.

No better couple on this or any other planet.

I help him every Christmas on his farm: Friendship Forest Christmas Tree Farm - Oakville, Maryland
