I followed the original decision and never doubted that...been in the same boat you were albeit a non-automotive possession. Life's too short.

Happy afd, guys.

Whoops...you read before I deleted...figured I'd rather keep some bozos on another website guessing...thanks for quoting only that.

(edit) To tell the truth, I've never turned the Bullitt's traction control off. Guess I've outgrown that kind of stuff...

Many thanks for that. Now I'm thinking of turning off the traction control...

Really, I didn't remember what V-8 torque really felt like. It was a few years of P-cars between the '66 GTO and the '09 Bullitt.

Not to take anything away from the coolness of the Bullit Mustang but that was not a very impressive display of rubber-burning. I think that just about any front engine/RWD car could make some tire-squeeling noises if you jerk the steering wheel to full-lock and floor it.

You know...you're right. Wanna see tire smoke do ya? Here you go...but do watch the video after the burnout to see a speedo wind like a tach.

Heck, I've even done that in my lowly 944

Just imagine what I could do in my V8 powered SUV....hehe

I actually was sensible and bought all season tires a few years ago, I got tired of the tail end having a mind of it's own every time it rained. Mind you, my car was my daily driver when I did that and I needed it to get to work. My next set of tires will not be so sensible...hehe

Loving how two 944 guys hijacked this thread..lol

I am debating on making my car a more of an AX car now that it is not needed as a DD. I have the 16 in Fuchs now, but I would like to put some track tires on a spare set of wheels.

Thats what I did.... I've got two sets of phonies... one painted a different color for autocross...

Stay away from autocross unless you have a very large toy budget... You get upgrade fever in a big way... I've already order 1k of parts this year and need about 1.5k more... Only 500 of that is maintainance items and that is the tbelt and accouterments...
