Headed to Italy; any good motorsports museums/tours you've taken?

We'll be in central and northern Italy end of July, with a car.

Knowing that all the great factories and tracks are there, can a mere mortal actually visit any of them?

I have not drifted that far north, but from Fchat: My Maranello Honeymoon

You have to log in to see the pretty pictures.

If you spend much time in Rome, get a personal guide to visit the Vatican. Well worth the money, otherwise you spend a lot of time waiting in lines.
