strange re. the bullet weight vs. velocity. In shotgunning i have found lighter/faster to be MUCH easier on the shoulder than heavier/slower. Talking 1 1/8oz vs. 1oz if that matters.

Their "power factor" is based on momentum rather than energy, so velocity is not squared. Momentum favors heavy bullets, where energy favors velocity. So, "making major" (power factor) is biased towards heavy bullets. They wanted it to be a .45 caliber game...

You can 'cheat' and shoot minor.
