McNabb a Redskin....

I do not know how I feel.... Gutsy move by ownership or another move to stay on the cheap. He would have cost to resign next year.

Jim Richards 04-04-2010 05:39 PM

It's a good move for McNabb.

Tobra 04-04-2010 05:49 PM

Thank goodness for him that he did not get sentenced to the Raiders

mattdavis11 04-05-2010 04:15 AM

It's a good move by the Eagles, but they still don't have a QB that can win it all. Now the Redskins don't either.

Erakad 04-05-2010 04:21 AM

The Redskins never ending quest for a QB...and now McNabb. Interesting choice, they've tried the draft with limited luck, now trying to buy the interim fix...interesting choice. Hope it works, although I doubt it.

McNabb told the team he would retire if traded to the Raiders.

Shanahan and McNabb will be an interesting combo, the Skins already have a great D.

McNabb and Reid were a poor fit, he never had the accuracy the dink offense demands, but Philly finishes fourth in the division next year....

The Skin's O line is terrible. I have a strong feeling that McNabb will get hurt.

Campbell got POUNDED last year.

DonDavis 04-05-2010 07:20 AM

McNabb is, and has always been overrated. But don't take my word for it, just watch the 'skins this season.

And please, mark this comment and revisit in January.

As a life long Redskin's fan, I am not really sure how to take this recent move.

On one hand, I can see the Skin's drafting Bradford or Claussen (sp?) in the first round, and then wanting a veteran QB to be the guys mentor. I am hoping that is what Shanny is thinking. Draft a young QB, let his work under McNabb for a few years while the O-line is rebuilt, and then you have a good young QB for the future.

I have never been a fan of Campbell, but like has already been said, he got owned last year. There were a couple of hits I am honestly surprised he got up from. Campbell got thrown into the mix way to early.

I wonder if Shanny will go after B. Marshall now?

Is it official?

What did the Eagles get for him?

911boost 04-05-2010 10:18 AM

The Eagles got the 37th pick in the draft.

URY914 04-05-2010 11:22 AM

I hope he can put that whole dog fighting thing behind him....

Jim Richards 04-05-2010 11:24 AM

Wrong QB, Paul. You're thinking of Michael Vick.

URY914 04-05-2010 11:42 AM

green = sarcasm :p

Jim Richards 04-05-2010 11:44 AM

sarcasm = over my thick skull. :D

I heard #34 and a 3rd rounder.

We'll take it. Kalb is supposed to be ready, so this move makes perfect sense to me.

Well with Kalb being already better than Aaron Rodgers he should be ready.

A fully gassed up bus and a box of towels.

Seriously though, I am excited to see what Kolb can do. He looked great when I saw him manhandle KC last year. He seems to have a better touch to hit his receivers in stride which McNabb could never seem to do.
