License plate ID
Looks like a European license plate, but also could be a fake bought at some boutique. Just wondering if anyone might be able to identify it one way or the other? It doesn't really matter but it was attached to my 73.5 and I’m just curious.
Thanks! Rob ![]()

That's a Stuttgart plate. I don't see the local decal on there, so the Bundesfinanzverwaltung tag might mean the car was tax exempt or made for export. Can't tell if the TUV decal is from '86 or '98. Pretty sure they looked a little fancier when I had a motorycle there in the early 90's.

Check out this German page on Wiki

I read it as 86, but I was assuming they installed the sticker correctly with the 12 at the top just like a clock.

Looks like 98 to me, the upper loop on the 8's are smaller than the lower loop. So, June 98. |
