Wow... that's an incredible deal, plus you can just hose off and flush right there. Wish we had something like that around here.

The monthly moorage is just brutal, we had it at Everett for a while (ended up having to repaint the bottom after that affair), and then paid through the nose in Lake Union. So right now ours is on the trailer in the garage. Quite the effort to get on the water vs. your setup.

Boats...I miss mine, 20 ft 200 hp I/O...but slip fees and winterization were a pain. I will get another one when I live down south with no winters and have my own slip. For now, kayak does it.

Arima and Mercury, bullet proof. As long as the impeller and lubrications are kept an eye on....

I got rid of my boat, THE GDFT tried to kill me. Traded for a Harley....

Nice looking boats!
A friend has been hounding me to pick up a hobie cat on craigslist, but I have two problems i need to solve first:
1. I don't know how to sail.
2. I don't have a trailer hitch on the 911 - yet.

Great boat, Dave. Where do you rig the mast and sails?

Today I caught my first Ling Cod. It was just short of the 26" minimum, so no fish dinner tonight,

Enjoy the fishing and the boat, I've had the opportunity to fish many times with our son and it's been a great experience. We've been tarpon, salmon, deep sea tuna, sailfish and marlin, great fun for all of us.

Well, this is an old thread. I have some updates. I sold that 1988 Arima in 2016 and upgraded to a 2005 Arima Sea Chaser. (smaller cuddy and more deck space)
I sold the old one for $5000 and had paid 7000 for it. So for 10 years and $1000 in repairs it cost me about 3k. My indoor space is now $82 a month. I use my boat all year around and it's a great set up at the boathouse. I am a cheap ass but my boat ownership has been worth every penny.

Cheers, Dave

Here is my newer one...
