PCP meets up with CCL
What a wild story. All those advocating an armed citizenry will enjoy reading about a wild PCP crazed bus-jacker getting ventilated by an armed civilian.

Actually sounds like a case of an untrained person with a gun who is lucky to be alive. If the news story is to be believed, he decided to wrestle with the large, violent crazy person and in the tussle, the bad guy got shot.
That's not exactly a smart course of action when you're armed. ![]()

That sounds like it was a crazy ugly melee brawl on that bus. The story didn't mention any other passengers helping the CCW guy as he fought the drugged up thug one on one. Thank god the CCW guy intervened, having actually come from his own car to board the bus and help.
I'd be very interested to see the specific details of this case, if anyone finds them. And gotta agree with Biv, this is a model case as to why CCW's exist. |

Denis makes a good point. If you are carrying and decide to draw your weapon, don't get close enough to the perp to give them an opportunity to grab it or grab you. Guy got lucky.

The average person can cover that distance faster than you can pull and unload. Naturally there are variables such as the antagonist being large and slow or the protagonist having practiced a lot.
