A Spoon For The Frogy
Just got my hands on this Baby...It is a Military Martini Henry with the rare HRB Receiver dated 1894 that has been converted to 22LR by CG Bonehill of Brimingham for the SMRC or Society of Minature Rifle Club. The stock has a Presentation plaque inletted that states:
"D" CoMPANY 7th Surrey VP 9th in BSA Volunteer Team Championship 1916 395 Teams Competeing Presented to T D Conway (Officer Commanding) as a memorial to his fine shooting by members of Team Committe and other firends. The trigger is crisp, the bore and blue is good and the varnish on the stock is wearing thin in places. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
