Talking Anyone in Page, AZ tomorrow night?

I'm here on a movie shoot (John Carter of Mars) on a wild chance, anyone here? Want to get together for a beer/dinner? If anyone is here, I'd be amazed.

Yeah, the drive from Flagstaff was nice, but you can only do so much with a front wheel drive Dodge compact (whatever it is).

I was there back in June on a lunch stopover. I was bummed we couldn't stay for a few hours and rent a car to get out there.

ya know right now may be a damn good time to grab a small boat for a few hours and cruise up some of the slot canyons and get some good frozen waterfall pictures.

also RIGHT NOW is 1 of 2 BEST TIMES to go nail TROUTS at lees ferry. try pink shrimps/scuds/orange red pink green puff balls. dont even need a boat. fish right from lees ferry campground below dam.

TROUTS AS BIG AS SALMONOIDS!

the other BEST TIME is in the middle of summer and trust me my step brother was a guide there, and he drug me up one june and it is ONE DAMN HOT CAULDRON in the summer and to cool off the water temp coming out from bottom of dam is about 41 degrees.

if ya catch your limit or even ONE(JUAN) BIG JUAN, go up to the marble canyon lodge above campground and THEY WILL COOK IT ANYWAY YA WANT!

I'm back in Page. The movie sets for "John Carter of Mars" are amazing. I wish I could show you pics, but it's not worth my job. It comes out in a year or so.

Yeah, Page is just a little out of the way for most folks in AZ.

We made it out to Page on a Sedona trip last year. Antelope Canyon in mesmerizing. It is hard to fathom the flood that ripped through there in 1997.

Horse Shoe Bend is worth seeing too.
