Hello, I’d like to take this opportunity and share with the HP Junkies my latest trip to Europe, if needed please delete or move otherwise enjoy.

This was during a crankshaft replacement onboard a cruise ship

Type 12V TT 8700 KW Output
Cylinder Bore 380MM
Cylinder Output 725KW/Cyl
RPM 600

Cool assignment. I am sure it is another job, but your office is an interesting place.

Let me guess is that Kansas or Nebraska?

I guess with an engine that size when you drop the nut for the connecting rod bolt it's not too hard to find

Yep, its that 15 pound thing that is on top of your foot that is making you yell cuss words!

How much Comps Cams will it take to lube it all up for break-in?

Did you polish the crank before installation?

I don't hug my crank as much as I used to, but I'm hoping to get someone to do it for me soon.

Wonderful pictures. I always enjoy seeing out of the ordinary mechanical systems.

Hope you enjoyed Venice as much as I do. A very special place.
